T.R.Y. is a thermochromic yarn whose colour changes immediately when it is heated or cooled to a specific temperature. As the yarn returns to its initial temperature, it quickly reverts to its original colour.
Both original and reactive colours can be selected according to a specific colour palette. Reversibility is guaranteed for hundreds of cycles and can be set to permanent change if desired.
You can choose the colour change temperature, from -20°C to +70°C, to suit your needs.
The colour change only goes from dark to light when the yarn is heated and vice versa when it is cooled.
T.R.Y. is sensitive to polar and light solvents, as well as prolonged exposure to UV light. It is resistant to numerous colour change cycles, depending on the conditions of use, including heating temperature and exposure time.
T.R.Y. is designed primarily for technical applications.
